Counsellor, MACP, RCC/CCC designation pending
Claudette believes that healing and growth are deeply personal - not a one-size-fits-all journey. With over 27 years of experience as an RCMP officer, she brings a deep respect for human resilience and the complexity of lived experience. Claudette is passionate about supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments.
Her counselling approach is rooted in the belief that every person is inherently worthy of growth, and that meaningful change becomes possible with the right support. Claudette understands that many of the difficulties we face, whether anxiety, depression, low self-worth, boundary challenges, or the lingering effects of trauma, often stem from internalized patterns shaped by shame, adversity, and early life experiences.
Many of the people she has supported have lived experiences with child abuse, intimate partner violence, religious trauma, systemic issues, and sanctuary Trauma. Whether you’ve been directly or indirectly impacted by crime, are navigating personal or relational challenges, or simply feel stuck, Claudette will meet you where you are. She works collaboratively with adult clients to explore what truly matters to them, tailoring each treatment plan to align with their unique circumstances, values, and goals.
Grounded in a trauma-informed, biopsychosocial framework, Claudette integrates empathetic listening with evidence-based strategies from various therapeutic modalities. She offers a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients are supported in exploring their inner world, gaining insight into unconscious patterns, and reconnecting with their own sense of agency and possibility.
Claudette offers on-line counselling for residents across Canada (exceptions: Ontario and Quebec). She also offers Walk and Talk therapy for Kelowna area clients. She is available various evenings and most weekends. Receipts provided for your records and benefit provider.
